I´m reading three books at the same time in the moment, depends on where I am...

Lord of the rings (I guess for the 20th time :) )
a book about the concentration (extermination) camp Sobibor
and finally the biography of the four most famous sons of Johann Sebastian Bach

This sounds interesting. I am interested in the history of the Second World War. I also like to watch documentaries on TV. Late in the evening, there are often some about WW II.

@pale

do you have the history channel where you live... we over here laugh because we say the intials (THC) stand for The Hitler Channel... all WW2 all the time.... we were watching a big history on the leaders of the SS on saturday and I have seen stuff on all kinds of WW2 battles and spies etc.... almost every guy i know is totally into WW2 stuff...

i personally tend toward James Patterson, Mary Higgins Clark, Andrew M Greeley and Jack Whyte for favorite authors.... however once in a while a good bodice ripper romance is fun too!!!

I love the books of Nicolas Sparks. They are full of great feelings.
My favourite book of Nicolas Sparks is "A walk to remember". A lovestory full of longing, fears and letting go... :cry:

No, we don´t have it here. But a news-channel has documentations about all kind of things at night.

I haven't seen it yet and I ask myself if I should do,. Because when you read something it's your mind's turn to get it into frames. Maybe movies destroy your own imagination. :rolleyes:
I experienced that when I read "Message in a bottle" and saw the movie ta TV then.

Mostly, books are better than the movies. Especially "The horse whisperer", the book was really great, but in the movie, the end was totally different. :(
