The image of Nimoy covering ASF is makes me smile a little inside.

And yeah, he does at least *try* to sing the song, though he more or less charmingly wobbles his way through it.

Shatner... I don't know what the hell Shatner is doing. He does recite more than anything else, and it is scary. He gets more and more aggressive as the song goes on until he sounds downright menacing..."I'm a RRROCK! ETT MAN!"

He gets more and more prolific with the verbal exclamation points too:

"It's just a JOB! Five DAYS! A WEEK! A rrrrrrocket man! I'm a rocket, MAN!"

I had Shatner's version of Rocket Man on my mp3 player when I was in Europe but I couldn't ever listen to it in public because I would start laughing! And I didn't want people to think, you know, that I was strange or anything, sitting there laughing to myself... :tongue:
