I've made it to the dreaded Three Leaf Clover mission. My GOD there are a lot of cops. And I swear, I have to screw something up SO BADLY when I make it near the end. Why does that remind me of the Robot Chicken Counter-Strike thing? I swear, nobody finds that funny but me...

Could be just my concentration is off. I have a sore jaw from having my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday, plus, I can't eat solid foods for a few days. But that's a whole other story.

The Sims 2. The house is a Borg ship, the inside is a spacelab, there are glowing flasks and beakers, and my Sims are having a lot of sex.

It's sorta creepy and cool at the same time.

Next door lives a Terminator (T-1000 model) and a zombie. Can't wait to see what their kids end up looking like.

I have a research project coming up. Perhaps I'll study correlations between Sims personas and preferences compared to real-life temperament... hm... you know, they did something similar with World of Warcraft (which I don't play)... it's just a dinky research assignment for an upcoming class anyway, nothing serious... I always thought that the idea of making a Self-Sim was kinda... creepy, yeah, I guess I'd say that. Similar to my beef with Second Life- go outside and DO things in REAL life! Sims should be for fun. Terminators, Predators, Krishna, zombies, Snape...

Too much Animal Crossing. Things are getting surreal in my humble burgh...

(I suck at Megaman- god that series is really difficult!)

Yeaaaaaaaah, more or less. Well, no. Well, kind of. It depends on how you create your Sim and what you make their interests to be.

So, with that in mind, yeah, essentially! One of my Sims just got knocked up... great... and if you don't look after the offspring a social worker comes and takes it away...

Unfortunately the goal for these particular Sims was to have sex with as many other Sims as possible, *not* to have a family- I save the family aspiration for the Sims with the weird modded skins...

Ha! When the ex and I were still together I made a Sim of him just for the fun of it... his Sim got someone else pregnant so I locked him in a small room, removed the doors, until he pissed himself to death. :D

(the Sim I mean, not the ex... yikes...)

Devil May Cry

I have a PlayStation 2 here in the studio. Sometimes I go Singstar which is fun and actually good practise. I am constantly surprised how good and clever a lot of Schlager songs are that I normally dont pay attention to. And singing makes your heart smile, its good for body and soul.
But I just finished Final Fantasy X in tears. Love the series. Now I am with Devil May Cry 3 but is hard work making your way through the hords of demons, pretty much like making music. Next one will be Okami which I really look forward to as I will soon go to Japan on our way to Australia and have of lately studied some Japanese and Japanese folklore. I am trying to hook up a Karaoke show there. Go Nudel.

nice, i lately downloaded a karaoke program, but it's some difficult to create the midi files... also i've got no micro :(

yes, singing opens the heart they say in yoga too; we did a lot of mantra singing at the yoga trainer education - a hall full of people singing every morning and every evening - goosebumps ;)

I have to be the only person in the world that hasn't gotten into the Final Fantasy groove. I tried one of the games once, but the whole style of the game annoyed me and I gave up. Mind you, it was about ten or so years ago. Maybe I should try it again.

Oh, and I finished GTA IV. Holy crap. That was awesome. I did both endings, one which made me cry like mad (if you know anything about how the endings work, you can probably guess which one broke me). Now I have Condemned 2 and Project Gotham Racing 3 to play around with, and maybe Soul Calibur IV by the end of this weekend. And I got an Xbox LIVE account. Good times...

You really should try it again. :)

But it´s the same thing with GTA. It´s maybe a great series ... but a played it a few years ago and didn´t like so much.

RE: Devil May Cry

FFX was *great*. Aside from my having Seymour issues...

I loved DMC 1, hated the second, and haven't played the third yet. It's on the (very long) agenda...

Now, Okami everywhere here is sold out. I've looked. I WILL buy this game as soon as my little paws have a chance to swipe it up. Looks beautiful, with innovative gameplay. (most overused phrase in the industry but whatever)...

Okami somehow reminds me of Mark of Kri- which I also loved. But that's more due to the cutscenes all done in calligraphy- beautiful.
