Yeah, I bought them a puppy some years ago and I have it wrapped in blue plastic paper, inside a closet...

I wonder what´s that smell...

Well... it is entirely possible that they would prefer to keep some things private. Or perhaps birthdays don't mean that much to them. Who knows? I imagine if you celebrated the release of their music (and forthcoming DVD) it would mean just as much to them -- if not more.

too much privacy according to Sharon :nein:

tho release parties is alright sometimes, but see it's a cult somewhere to celebrate celebrities b-days and we can have 3 more fun-packed days to rejoice...

remember good old robot dave gahan's fans cons?

there are thousands of celebreties on this planet whose birthdays you could celebrate. you should enjoy their music, if you like it and share the champagne with your friends.

well, I´d say anyone should accept the band's wish not to make their birthdays public. I think too that celebrating their music means mcuh more to them then celebration the person ;)

It is good to have privacy,we all need it, so let´s respect it.

It would be a pity to waste that champagne waiting, as I wasted my puppy, so enjoy it! That is a good way to honor them too.

Maybe I can still make a barbecue...

Celebrate the music; the private lives of the people who make it are irrelevant if they choose to demarcate that. If they want their b-days or anything else to remain private, then those wishes should be respected.

Well... the thing is that I wanted to make a good BD present for the guys so I made a tattoo on the puppy... is says "Happy birthday dear guys of the greatest band on earth after kraftwerk, I hope all your dreams come true and you come to my place and drink beer all night while playing the ukelele. With love, from the Argentinian heart. Yours, Wanda (friends call me panda. or gato)". It is all written in Arial Black Italic 54 pts. Maybe I should add some kind of "and enjoy the white elephant season, hope you enjoy your present too, it is a bit smelly, but it is the smell of love. Sorry for the worms."

I´ll bubble wrap it and and ask this guy, Tom Hanks, from Fed Ex to take it.
