Geographically Challenged Association

Welcome to the Geographically Challenged Association thread.

The intention of this section is to talk freely about all the things that Geographically Challenged members of the forum are missing.

This thread has 2 main proposes:

1- A friendly-support for issues that cannot be solved. For that we have big arms and tons of Kleenex*. We can talk about the evil mankind and our cruel destiny of living far far away.

2- Do something about it. By this, we mean: get in touch with some other gentle souls that are willing to do something for you and work together for the common good. We can arrange stuff-shippings, post videos, pictures, and everything that makes us feel closer.

* addition of ice cream is on the board´s agenda, I guess it will be approved soon

RE: Geographically Challenged Association

As we are the only 2 board-members of the GCA, ice cream shall be approved.

Amén.

Note: We should hire some more souls, so we don´t take care of this decisions any more and enjoy our time lying on a sofa eating grapes form the hands of a handsome someone.

I volunteer my services for the acquisition of any Canadian goods. And maybe even American stuff, considering our dollar is equal to theirs now. Whee. :)

Seeing as I see more value in sharing experiences with fantastic people that may be far away from me than to share them with unpleasant people who may be very close, I shall apply for membership. :)

Since I'm a hugger *smiles knowingly at ilex* I'd like to be considered for an official "hugger" position as well. ;)

See, that's the nice thing about the GCA... by merely expressing simpatico interest one automatically becomes a member...

I whole-heartedly agree. Surely these taxing executive duties may be shared? I wouldn't want anything to distract us from being fanned with gigantic palm fronds by nubile youths wearing loincloths and charmingly alluring smiles...

Cheers!

Great! :D

I'm waiting for the guys with the palm fronds and the grapes to appear. I hope they will serve some chocolate ice-cream, too.
We just need some comfort for not being able to watch every single Covenant gig that takes place on this planet, right?

I think we should accept them all, as board member, what do you think girl??

As the VP resident in Argentina, I can provide Argentinian goods: Any musical stuff I can deliver, tons of asado, tons of wine, and alfajores.
I´m a hugger too, to count me in for that also.

So, we still need someone in Africa, Asia and Australia, right?

Note: the ones that are already accepted, can freely choose any position they want, as long as it is not taken and isn´t more than a VP (GCA will not have a president and stuff)

@ilex:

As VP I think we DO need horses in every single dance floor of the GCA. That should be our priority number 2 (after getting guys with palm fronds). I will write it down in our next board´s meetings agenda.

Hiya hon - am back from the land of the dead (overtime - unpaid - swines!)

Am working on logistics to represent the GCd in Spain (plans are afoot, oh yes!) I think it would be would a good idea that all members who go to the events in their areas which the others of us can't make should go there representing the whole (GCA)! What'dya think.

That means we are all going to the London show next month :D

Hugs
