Not nasty, a wonderful little toy! I was told about the shocks ahead of time though- which kind of takes the terrorizing part out of it... if I end up getting one, I won't tell about that part to my friends.

Either you have shock-resistant hands (hmm, you do work in a lab, perhaps you had a Barry Allen-type accident that made you impervious to electricity?) or the batteries were weak. It bloody hurts, that evil contraption!

Nope, not shock-resistant hands, nor impervious to electricity- and I even took off my glove for it. I only got shocked once that huuurt when I pressed the button in the middle of the music and yeah, it wasn't comfortable... I yelled "F*CK!!!" and dropped the damn thing. But it was an *interesting* sensation though, in your palm, and a tingling going up the arm... I really didn't mind it. I was more or less observing how fascinating the physiological response was! Other than that, I don't remember really getting much of a shock, if at all.

...well, you *did* out me that I work in a lab... :sch:

And it instantly reminded me of Stanley Milgram's Authority Experiment 18, which I thought was interesting...

I was for a first time at such a festival and I was absolutely amazed. Covanant was the main reason I went to Germany for Amphi but I wanted to see so more bands like And One, Klinik, Combichrist and actually enjoyed most of the shows I saw. Even Clan of Xymox which I don't listen to that much managed to impress me.

I saw Covenant for a first time live - Eskil is so charismatic, his attitude and his presence on stage, the he communicated with the fans - it made me even bigger fan of this band.

I've got a Covenant t-shirt and up to now I was the only person I've seen or known wearing such. On Amphi I saw probably hundreds of people with C. t-shirts or jackets, it was so nice to be part of the crowd

(although wearing blue jeans and Converse chuks :tongue
