RE: Tinitus 2004

Brothers and sisters,

We finally bring you the complete line-up:

TINITUS FESTIVAL 2004

November 6, 1800-0500
Münchenbryggeriet Stockholm

Tinitus proudly present:

VNV NATION

The gigants in electronic music VNV Nation will visit Tinitus Festival 2004 with
a special show and new songs to be performed for the Tinitus audience!
VNV Nation has made a name as one of the biggest modern synth bands in the
world, ever progressing within futuristic synthpop and darker musical domains.
The band visited the Tinitus festival back in 2001, during their world
conquering tour of FuturePerfect. Frontman Ronan Harris and Mark Jackson is
currently setting a new level of perfection in their studio and a new album
release is due at fall 04.
We are proud to have them back, live on stage.

ALPHAVILLE

One of the most legendary synthpop acts from the 80's, the band behind enormous
worldwide hits such as Big in Japan, Forever Young and Sounds Like a Melody are
coming to Sweden with their 20th anniversary show! With an extensive
discography, they prove that their brand of music and attitude is something that
never go out of style.
We can promise you an amazing gig, supported by fantastic visual show, and a
seemingly endless parade of new romantic anthems.

FIXMER McCARTHY

Hailing from Lille in France, dj and music maker Terence Fixmer has teamed up
with legendary Nitzer Ebb singer Douglas McCarthy to set the record straight
with electronic dance music.
Fixmer/McCarthy start off where NITZER EBB's album That Total Age left off with
pumping rhythms and aggresive, yet beautiful vocals.
Climbing the dancecharts with the 12" single Destroy/Freefall, a whole new album
is scheduled for release on May 28. Don't miss this chance to see these two
legends under one name.

PORTION CONTROL

South London trio of John Whybrew, Ian Sharp and Dean Piavani, started out as an
electronic act in 1980. They released a series of classic 12" singles: Raise the
Pulse, Rough Justice and Go-Talk and The Great Divide.

Portion Control where critically acclaimed by the music press which brought them
to the attention of like-minded individuals.
In this way they became a major influence on several of the electronic acts in
the 1980s and 1990s like Skinny Puppy, Front Line Assembly and Depeche Mode.
Following the release of the critically acclaimed double poly packed CD
Wellcome, legendary Portion Control presents their new live-set for the first
time outside Britain, at the Tinitus festival.

A SPLIT SECOND

A split second, one of the biggest export of the belgian EBM wave from mid 80s
to early nineties visits Sweden för the first time in over 10 years! Hits like
Flesh, Rigor Mortis, Mambo witch, Crimewave and many many more filled the wave
dancefloors to the brim with heavy, yet catchy tunes, still heard today!

The band remains forever in company of Front 242, A:grumh…, Borghesia and Click
Click. This is an unique opportunity to see them 100% old school in sound and
vision!

LEGOWELT

As young man Danny Wolfers (Haag, Netherlands) got his hands on early Italo and
electro releases and started making music. Those old records are still a big
inspiration when making music under different project names on the pioneering
Bunker Records label.
With music which is partly introvert, partly chartbreaking hits like Total pussy
control, remixes released on DJ Hell's label and partaking on different
compilations, Legowelt has gained over 50 releases in his discography. According
to Legowelt official websitesite, an all-time favourite is Front 242's
Kampfbereit.

XOTOX

In 1998 Andreas Davids founded Xotox with the aim to produce hard electronic
music. The first self released album Stückgut was a small success in the
underground-scene.
November 2003 the album Lichtlos was released and hit the #1 in the DAC (german
alternative charts)! Equally strong on record, Xotox presented a powerful stage
appearance on the 2004 Wave gothic treffen, which gave echo to scandinavia and
the Tinitus festival. We proudly present the first ever Xotox scandinavian live
appearance.

NEBELWÄRFER

Our second band from Haag/Netherlands present a quite unique blend of music
styles seldom spoke of together. Inspired by bands like Der Blutharsch, Death in
June and Winterkälte, as well as Stakker and other early acid house, sounds from
some World Serpent releases, they mix it all together and serves it as a rather
harsch dish of electronic music. Rhythmic yet droning and ambient, the sound
sometimes reminds of the earlier days of Megaptera, SPK and Master/Slave
relationship.
