with great expectation we are awaitng for the official position from the band regards the "unpleasant" inconveniences presented in the "dead tech festival".....because most of the loyal fans of covenant we already make reservations pay tickts and pay planes to come to see you....please dont delay this statement....we are really anxious to see ya......and in case of being cruelly stealed by this organization, start ther legal prosecution of this felony .

They Blame COVENANT for moving the festival date in southamerica? it's fake these accusations are false!

we know ''dead tech corp'' have right person in his staff, they really are making a big effort for make this show real, in our country! and everybody know here the hard of it, they have fulfilled all the promises, but there always inconveniences that we must understand, like the low pre-sell!

Please Daniel Myer and Covenant don't cancel the show, here we haven't big scene like other countries, but we really want see to Covenant in the show in colombia, you must know this organization called ''dead tech corp'' are so good persons and obviously they dont' want put to covenant bad...like they say: Covenant are Dead Tech Festival, please, please!! come to Colombia!!

Well yes, they can aim south and come visit Argentina!


We all know how hard it is to bring bands and organize these kind of events in South America, these things happen all the time, even with huge bands like Metallica! So we, more than anyone should understand any inconvenience. I´m also sure musicians know how much expectation and excitement is around their visit.

If any band cancels a show like this, I´m sure it´s not because they are not getting enough ice for they daiquiris in backstage. Well maybe Metallica would...

If they can solve it, they will and we will all be happy.

If they can´t, they won´t, we should all understand and maybe we see them some other time.

I´m saying this from the point of view of someone who was going all the way to Colombia that weekend just to see them.

With all due respect to the one who wrote this, it is very bad written and it is very hard to read even in spanish...

With regard to the colombian shows; To all media, people and world escene:

With regard to what happened in Colombia with the anounced events.

It’s quite uncomfortable to be involved in a situation, being already announced on a couple of flyers. First of all, we want to send an apology to all people that has been directly affected by the whole confusion atmosphere and it is necessary to clarify it up.

Unfortunately we believed in people that deceived our trust of us all, and of all the people that are around us, with a very delicate situation, abusing of the trust that our colective put in them from the very beginning.

But with this fraud, a lot of people has shown a lot of support to us, and to many other people, and it is a situation that has already affected another country –since in Venezuela we have confirmed dates and because of this deceit caused by this organization, we cannot afford going there and we are still on debt with this escene… We support to the people that have been loyal to us, and that have treated us fairly and far different from the way DTC has treated us.

It is important to mention that this so called festival –which was supposed to start today- also affected a lot of people worldwide that were expecting to attend and that believed in that event and organization (with already bought plane tickets, hotel reservation, presales… time lost, and so on).


Why we decide to not perform with DTC?

1. A clear fraud of a considerable amount of money with an event that was made in Mexico, with the intention of supporting DTC; a fraud that can be confirmed with physical proofs and that if it is not solved in a friendly way, we will proceed to take the legal way, being this decision supported by a lot of people and musicians in America and in Europe, that were affected by that organization)
2. At the arrival to the airport, they got late 1h 30 min for picking up the Djs, which is a situation completely out of professional manners.
3. They didn’t satisfy the basic requirements that we have agreed on with them (They do not have logistics at all)
4. The most important reason: FAILURE TO EVERYTHING AGREED WITH THEM!

FORTUNATELY THERE WAS PEOPLE THAT WERE INTERESTED IN THIS ISSUE, AND WERE WILLING TO HELP, AND NOW THE STORY IS QUITE DIFFERENT:
