In the time of my puberty I liked Agnetha :sch:

Ha! Isn't crushing on ABBA more or less a pre-pubescent rite of passage or something?

(I had a crush on Björn when I was 7... ;) ... why do I get the distinct feeling that Swedes are probably sick to death of hearing about ABBA?)

Though we never thought that we could lose,
There's no regret.
If I had to do the same again, I would, my friend, FernandoOOOOOOO"

Please guys, you are hurting my feelings, don´t forget Roxette...

Oh, much shared festival love, thank you both. Count me also in as a repeat if 2008 is anything like 2007!

That would be very cool to have you at the festival again in 2008! :-]

A time-honored tradition of twice! ;) :D

Maybe you get this distinct feeling coz most of the people (Swedes) compare this kind of music with homosexuals like the music of Village People.

Maybe I am wrong with my thinking.

Ohhhh....You see....I don´t know much about music.

:sch:

But if I am honest I liked only 2 songs of Roxette

-Listen To Your Heart

and

-It Must Have Been Love

These songs are :perfekt:

Wacky Erasure covers notwithstanding, I think it's something more akin to my getting sick of people asking about horses and cowboy hats being I live in Texas. ;)

When I look at this succession (ABBA – Roxette – Covenant) I can’t help thinking that the Swedish pop culture has seriously improved.

d_h thak you for the video, you know, I was saving money to go to Waregem this year, (2 flying tickets and all expenses in a far away land where 1 euro is 4.5 pesos are A LOT of money...) but something came up and I had to use it and could not go... we were REALLY looking forward to it, but we had to stay here thinking sadly "gggggggrrrrrrrrrrgggghhhhhsssssfffzzzzzz"

So thank you for giving me the chance to see it :)

I started saving money for next year already :-]

Do you have any Roxette in your video collection?
What hapend to Roxette? are they still alive?

You are welcome but you should thank Covenant for their good performance and not me.

For sure Covenant dislike what I have done. :sch:

Are you sure you like to go to Europe?

I am not sure if Covenant like to perform next year again in Waregem.

This weekend Covenant should perform in Rostock but the festival is cancelled.

In the year 2000 on the Wave Gothik Treffen in Leipzig some performers didn´t perform coz the organizer was bankrupt.

Respect.
Covenant should roll out the red carpet when you are arriving from Argentina to Europe for spending so much money to see them live.

Ask your self what are you gonna do, if the concert/festival is going to be cancelled?

Sorry, I don´t have any videos of Roxette and I don´t know what they are doing now.

Maybe there are some forums for Roxette fans which answers your questions.

In internet there are some gigs of them circulating.

I was not able to write you an email.

maybe there was an improvement with the band a-teens :P

But now honestly, Covenant is producing the music which I like very much.

I like Depeche Mode and some other bands too e.g. Vive La Fete

:perfekt:

@d_h:

No, we like that you made the bootleg video. The more the merrier! Just don't sell it for profit. Then we don't like you anymore.

We would also love to return to Waregem next year. It was a fantastic festival and the first time in years I really enjoyed every band that I got to see. The promoters really know what they're doing.

We performed as scheduled at WGT in 2000, as promised. We never cancel any show, no matter what. If canceled, it's not because of us. Like the Rostock show.

@LePand:

We totally missed you guys! It was a blast but it would have been even better with the Argentine Fantastic 4. ;)

Seriously. The lineup was great. And I want to hug whomever came up with the idea of switching stages instead of having two performances go at the same time.

Actually enjoyed Waregem more than Amphi. I mean, I liked Amphi a lot too, but I preferred the venue at Waregem.

Yeah! I love being the popular girl! Mud fight for me :D hahahahah
Seriously, I´d love to hang out with you! But I have to warn you, Argentinians come in a four pack 8)
Andre, Gaby, Fer and I, we are saving and will plan the trip according to the festivals so we can meet again all our friends there...
Thanks for the rock girls! 8)

@ Joakim:

So, you see, we plan the trip according to the festivals, so do not cancel shows or we will have to go and get you in our sonic motorbikes and force you to play dressed as cinderella :D
No, seriuosly, we miss you like hell too, we were so sad to miss it... I called Andrea a day before the festival and said "I pick you up now and let´s get the hell out of here!" but we noticed we still had to pay the trip to Santiago hehehe
Next year, It´s a fact.

I have never sold bootlegs.

There is a code of honor for me not to sell bootlegs and not to share official stuff in internet.

I am a groupie of electronic-music-bands who enjoys watching concerts with the view of my camera.

In concerts I like most the spontaneous reaction of a crowd where fans show their emotions and the fans on the festival in Waregem showed many emotions.

I hope I am able to get an other chance to capture one of your performances and maybe next time there will be on my tape LePand, Andre, Gaby,Fer,Ilex011, kleineRatte and some other users of this forum showing their emotions to your fantastic music.
